SCLO’s Managing Partner, Mr Wael Abdin attended the International Lawyers For Africa Annual Gala Dinner in November 2018 at The Law Society in London.  

ILFA is a UK-based organisation focused on building excellence in legal services across Africa. In the last decade ILFA has successfully seconded and trained almost 200 African Lawyers from 20 jurisdictions through its flagship programme.  In 2016, the programme was extended through the introduction of an intra-Africa secondment programme which was launched in Lagos, Nigeria. In 2007 Mr Abdin was the only Sudanese Lawyer selected for the ILFA Flagship Secondment Programme which provides opportunities for African Lawyers to participate in international secondments in London, Paris, Lisbon and Dubai. Mr Abdin has also served as a Member of the ILFA Selection Committee in Sudan.
