Diplomatic Missions & NGOs

The SCLO team has substantial experience advising and representing foreign embassies and diplomatic missions. Many of our clients seek our support and guidance in ensuring that their operations comply with Sudanese laws and regulations. Our experience includes advising and acting for our clients on commercial contracts, labour and social security law, public law, and document verification.

Our work has included:

Acting for the Near East Foundation in matters relating to personal income tax, and advises on matters of labour law and central bank regulations (with an emphasis on foreign exchange regulations)

Assisting Plan International in various aspects of its operations in Sudan. This included representing Plan International in contractual disputes outside of the capital city of Khartoum, advising on software and systems supply contracts, advising on labour law, real estate, and data protection.

Advising Norwegian Church Aid on various aspects of its operations in Sudan.
