During recent years, SCLO has developed strong links with International NGO’s (Non-Governmental Organisations) including NGO Rocinantes, Plan International Sudan, Near East Foundation and other International NGO’s. SCLO are excited to announce that we are now working with Norwegian Church Aid Sudan Country Office.
Norwegian Church Aid Sudan Country Office has worked in Sudan since 1972 in long-term development and relief. An estimated 2.2 million people in Central and South Darfur and West and South Kordofan have accessed clean drinking water and safe sanitation and hygiene and health services over the past four years.
Norwegian Church Aid Sudan Country Office has played a key role in humanitarian projects and development in the country. The biggest of these is the response to the crisis in Darfur, which started in 2004 and is still here. The professional humanitarian capacity to respond and the merits of Norwegian Church Aid Sudan Country Office have been recognised from various quarters in Sudan, including donor organisations and embassies.
SCLO is honoured to work with Norwegian Church Aid Sudan Country Office and hopes this will be a long and fruitful working relationship.
